Teaching Philosophy



The ABC'S of Teaching 
A - Attitude, a positive attitude is absolutely everything.
B - Believing, every child can reach their fullest potential which is highest level of success!
C - Creative Centers, using cooperative learning and centers to teach children!
D - Dedicated, I am dedicated and committed to each and every child!
E - Educating children in their own learning style, rather than a one size fits all!
F - Facilitator, guiding students through their own learning and discovery journey!
G - Growing,- I am constantly striving to find new and creative ways to teach!
H - Homeschooling, an alternative to the public mainstream school, currently I create customized curriculum for a third grade student and I am starting to homeschool my 3 year old.
I - Intuitive, As a mother of two boys I have become  not only an educator but intuitive about the social, emotional side of children!
J - Journey, the learning never ends.  
K - Knowledge is power!
L - Love for learning,  inspiring students to become a lifetime learner!
M - Manipulatives for hands on learning experience!
N - Never ceasing, to push, motivate, and encourage to bring out the best in your child!
O - Optimistic, I see myself as an educational cheerleader, where I strive to provide positive feedback to encourage your child in learning and build their self confidence!
P - Pinterest , finding the most adorable activities to try with my students!
Q - Questioning students' thought processes until they derive their own conclusions.
R - Relationship, I believe building a positive relationship with the  student, teacher, and parent to connect learning.
S - Singing songs, to enhance learning!
T - Top notch, I constantly research the best ways to teach and stay current with educational research to provide you and your family with a top notch education!  
U - Understanding, the spectrum of learning from giftedness to special needs.
V - Variety, I like to keep things exciting by changing our daily activities.
W - Work. Work. Work. For everyone involved the best way to see progress is working hard every day!
X - Extra- ordinary, I believe all children all extra-ordinary and it is my responsibility as a teacher to discover the hidden talents within your child and expand on those strengths!
Y - Youtube, a great resource to creatively teach!
Z - Zeal, this word doesn't even come close to describe how passionate I am about teaching and learning!
